- How is protective clothing used at your logistics site?
There are various different types of logistics. Our company has consistently been engaged in chemical logistics since its founding, dealing with various chemical types and packagings including inorganic chemicals, organic chemicals, high-pressure gases, fine chemicals, agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, fertilizers, petrochemical products, and synthetic resins. We use protective clothing for working handling raw materials that give off oxidized dust and also for work extracting dust.
- What led to you deciding to use LIVMOA™?
In the summer of 2018 there was a disaster-level heatwave, and people on-site began asking for protective clothing with better breathability and dust protection. So we introduced LIVMOA™ on a provisional basis, and decided to officially start using it after we found that it did indeed guarantee both breathability as well as dust protection.
- What were your impressions after using LIVMOA™?
It's more breathable than the protective clothing that we had been using. People move around and sweat a lot at a logistics site, so I think it is very important to have good breathability and comfort while ensuring dust protection.

- What kind of problems did you have with your previous protective clothing?
As a single-use product, the protective clothing we used before was not cost-effective or easy to use. This meant that we urgently needed to find protective clothing that was cost-effective and durable enough to not emit dust in cleanrooms.
- What were your reasons for using LIVMOA™?
We learned about LIVMOA™, which was under development at the time, while looking into alternative protective clothing. After trialing it in our actual production facility, we decided to use it because it was cost-effective and there were no issues at all with its performance. As we use protective clothing every day, another main reason was that we could just continue with making recurring purchases without having to worry about supply.
- What were your impressions after using LIVMOA™?
It feels relatively thick, with excellent durability and water resistance. It is also suitable for use in cleanrooms thanks to its low dust emission. It is also very comfortable to wear and we did not experience any issues with it while working.

We had three of our employees try the clothing. The clothing was extremely well-made and seemed sturdy. It was extremely good, not letting any paint seep through.

Previous protective clothing allowed the interior of the protective clothing to become soiled with pigment during the previously mentioned work, but this protective clothing did not allow any pigment to penetrate and the interior of the protective clothing remained clean. I was surprised.

The elastic around the wrists, ankles and face are extremely functional. The cord that goes around the thumb is good, too. The adhesive sheet around the facial area can be used safely as well. The material was soft, and easy to put on and take off. I felt that this product was superior to what we are using now.

Unlike a clean room for semiconductor or pharmaceutical production with perfect temperature control and purified air, negotiating the environment to photograph all manner of items in the field is difficult. During the winter, we would wear dustproof coveralls over our clothing to prevent dust from dispersing, but during the summer, conditions were practically impossible because of the heat and humidity. Those of us working this type of job are very grateful for the improved breathability of this product.
